Last March 2020, we have launch a “Tarpauline Donation Drive” in support of SEED4COM’s community sustainability projects. We are glad to report that we have recieved a lot of tarpauline donations and inquiries all over the country! ๐ฒ๐ค
Photos shown below was taken last March 14, 2020 where we personally delivered some of the donated tarpaulines to the “Nanay” weavers of Looc Naval Home Owners Cooperative, Lapulapu City. We were able to talk to them about the project and saw first hand some of the prototype samples of the tarpauline products.
Through these activities, small cooperatives and groups can earn a sustainable income while helping our environment. SAVE will continue such projects and help support more community based environmental sustainability initiatives with the coordination of SEED4COM.
Our other aim is to implement these environmental activities as well within the CIT-U community. ๐๐๐๐
